The Church of Santa Maria di Loreto // Rome, Italy

Description

After a few days in Florence, it was time to visit Rome. During one of our sightseeing walks, we stumbled across the Santa Maria di Loreto, a 16th century church located next to Trajan’s Column, which is partly obscured by the tree. Doing my research to write this caption, I found out that the church was built by the association of bakers. This photograph is one of those shots of opportunity that you take. The light on church was kind, despite it being midday, the sky was blue, and the tree framed the church nicely.
